Database
A database is basically a pool of information. Different databases house different kinds of information or records. A more technical definition is that a database is the supply of answers for a query posed to an online system. The computer can gather answers from specified databases regarding specific topics. There are certain programs and applications which allow users to create their own records, archives, or databases such as Filemaker.
