Awareness Marketing
Awareness marketing is designed to saturate the media with enough marketing messages and images so that they gain Top of Mind awareness throughout the entire marketplace. Awareness is a company centric initiative; generic messaging is broadcast to a large consumer base in a shotgun approach with little respect for personal preference. Awareness marketing tends to be passive, requiring no response from the individual. While this type of marketing reaches the largest possible audience, it is by far the most expensive method of marketing and carries the highest cost per sale.
