APM Terminals is one of the world’s largest operators of container terminals spanning thirty-four countries and five continents. Under the guidance of APM Terminals’ global headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands, MindComet conducted a comprehensive needs assessment focused on architecting the company’s global Web site as an effective technology platform and communications tool while reducing worldwide expenditures.
Developed with international acceptance and utilization in mind, the Web site initiative was tasked with reporting measurable ROI and raising the standards of APM Terminals’ communications and technology. A five-phased design, development and implementation approach within a two-year time frame began with a new CMS-supported Web site, followed by a digital communications campaign, custom multimedia, and Terminal-driven application integration.
